1. Check the plug cap
Pull the cap and inspect it.
Look for:
- Moisture
- Dirt
- Corrosion
- Damage
- Loose fit

And don’t casually handle an exposed ignition connection while the system is operating.
High-voltage ignition systems can produce a painful or dangerous shock.
Better workshop practice:
Test → observe → diagnose.
If the plug is suspect, use a known-good plug of the correct specification where appropriate and retest.
If the cap, plug and connections are good but the required spark is still absent, then move further into the ignition-system diagnosis—including the coil where applicable.
